Giants at Eagles (-4.5), 8:20 p.m. EST
Travis Fulgham O58.5 yards (-112), Rec TD (+180); Boston Scott over 13.5 carries (+100), Rush TD (+110); Evan Engram O3.5 receptions (-135); Carson Wentz O0.5 interceptions (-120)
Okay, after a week of no football on Thursday, we return to your regularly schedule programming. This week spotlights two shit teams in the worst division, scrapping to get their second wins and possible lead of the division. LOL. Jesus the NFC East is weak.
Props this week. The Eagles have no tight ends and almost no receivers. Travis Fulgham has been the only wide receiver left that has shown playmaking ability in the past few weeks, and I expect another showing from him. While he will be covered by a solid cornerback in James Bradbury, 58.5 yards is not a ton and considering volume I see that and a touchdown coming with ease. Due to that matchup and volume though, I expect at least one interception being snagged off Wentz so I’d put a unit on that occurring, especially at -120.
Another gimme is Boston Scott. With Miles Sanders out he’ll be taking most of the rushing work. Over 13.5 carries with ease, and a goal line touchdown seem par for the course here.
Lastly, take Engram over 3.5 pass receptions. One of their biggest weapons against a defense that allows tight ends to flourish. 3.5 seems too low not to pull the trigger on.
Other props I’m taking: shortest touchdown over 1.5 yards (pure risk) and Giants +4.5. I see the Eagles taking a 2+ touchdown lead in the third and the Giants clawing back late to get within a field goal (and ultimately lose).
